Myrtle Philip Elementary School opened in 1992 and is located in the shadow of the World Famous Whistler Blackcomb Ski Mountains. The school is named after Myrtle Philip, one of Canada's true pioneers who, together with her husband, Alex Philip, built Rainbow Lodge in 1913.
