Whistler Event Tourism
Whistler’s Resort Partners have created a new Whistler Event Tourism Strategy that will help Whistler reach its vision for events: "Whistler is an internationally recognized tourism destination – renowned for its superior quality and diverse events – making it a place to visit again and again".
As part of the Event Tourism Strategy, Resort Partners are working together to streamline the event organizing process making it easier for event producers to host events in Whistler. There are a few simple 'First Steps' that need to be taken before the event planning process can begin.
First Steps
- Connect with Lynn Chappell at Tourism Whistler at 604-938-2705 or lchappell@tourismwhistler.com. Lynn is the first point of contact regarding events in Whistler and will be happy to provide information required to begin the event planning process.
- Complete and submit the Whistler Event Application Form.
- The information on the submitted Whistler Event Application form will be shared with the Whistler Events Working Committee comprised of key Resort Partners for review.
- Once the document has been reviewed, the event organizer will be contacted with next steps and important contact information.
