Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) Event Protocols

The RMOW requires the following Event Booking Requirements for indoor or outdoor events taking place in Municipal areas (Whistler Village, Parks & Fields or Municipal Indoor Facility):

  1. Mandatory Site Visit at the early event planning stages
  2. Village Facility Use and/or Park and Field Facility Use Application Forms
  3. Event Production Plan
  4. Sponsor Activations & Sampling Plan to be approved by RMOW
  5. Business License – if applicable, please visit: www.whistler.ca/content/view/55/274/
  6. Special Occasion Liquor License, if applicable

The following will also be required in addition to your Village Use Application: Site and Emergency Plan, Security Plan, and Temporary Structure Plans.

Village Permit
Once your Facililty Use Application, Event Production Plan and other plans have been approved, you will be issued a Village Permit -  Village Permit Example .
